Meghan Markle announces childrens Netflix series

Meghan Markle has announced she will be making an animated children’s series, which has prompted speculation the show will be based on her own experiences as a young girl.

The series, tentatively titled ‘Pearl’, will follow the adventures of a 12 year old girl on a journey of self-discovery and who tries to overcome life’s daily challenges.

Meghan has said on her website the show “celebrates extraordinary women throughout history”.

“I’m thrilled that Archewell Productions, partnered with the powerhouse platform of Netflix, and these incredible producers, will together bring you this new animated series,” Ms Markle said.
